i finally understand what all the hype is about! running ragnar - wasatch back- was the funnest sporting event i've ever been a part of! here is our van where we stuffed 6 runners and all of our gear from Logan to Park City. the 5 guys in my van were strangers, except for my brother in law, but after 36 hours of AC/DC and Brian Reagan, we were all buds.
the van was never far away while we had a runner on the road. my teammates stopped every half mile during my run up Snow Basin hill to give me water and encouragement.
the 180 mile relay race took us through some increadably beautiful scenery (and increadably steep hills).
here are dave and i at the finish line (i ran the last leg) after Team Friends and Family Plan crossed together. everyone sign up for next year right now!
